Evernote - Noting Everywhere

Normally when I wanted to record down small content, such as some ideas or some important points during meetings, I will use tools like Notepad. But with Evernote, things become much more easier.

Evernote is a online note storing system that allow you to store your note in text and images form, just like a ordinary website. You need to create an account first before you can start using it. Free account is entitled for 40mb of usage, which I think this is more than enough for most of us.

See? I'm using it to note down all the nice places to eat, tips & tricks, etc :-)

You can also create tags, folders to organize your notes. So, with Evernote, you can access to your note everywhere. They also have this standalone version ready for download. So just install it into your PC or mobile phone (Symbian is not supported, too bad), then we can access to our note even when offline. It will sync with the Evernote server when you have the chance to get online.

PC version of Evernote
The cooler thing is, there is a firefox plugin for Evernote! So no more bookmarking a page just because of a few picture or sentence, you can clip any part of a website with this plugin. Please note that you must have PC version of Evernote installed before you can use this plugin. (However Google Chrome plugin can work without the PC version installed).

Evernote button after plugin installed.
Just highlight the part you wanted to save and click the Evernote button.
Ding! 1 note added!
Tadaa! Note saved! It will have the URL of the page that you saved from, so you always can go back to the page if needed.
